“HOW TO GET THROUGH DIFFICULT DAYS ”

But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 Timothy 3:1

1. There must be a willingness to  follow God’s direction.

This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me: This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me.  This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me. Amos 7:1,4,7

Eli said to Samuel, “Go back and lie down. When He calls you, say, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” . 1 Samuel 3:9

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright. Proverbs 2:6

If you will follow me with integrity and godliness, as David your father did, obeying all my commands, decrees, and regulations, then I will establish you. 1 Kings 9:4,5

Jesus spoke out again, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”( I will make your day) John 8:12

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30

2.  Never ever consider yourself an ordinary person.

Amos answered Amaziah, “I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees. But the Lord took me from tending the flock and said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’ Amos 7:14,15

You are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. 1 Peter 2:9,10

Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be . God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. So we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son. Ephesians 1:3-6

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—. You watched me as I was being formed , as I was woven together in my mother’s womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! Psalm 139:15-17

3. Let the love of God become your center of gravity.

Then he showed me another vision. I saw the Lord standing beside a wall that had been built using a plumb line. He was using a plumb line to see if it was still straight. Amos 7:7

Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, “How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!” But the people were completely silent. 1 King 18:21

But Zacchaeus stopped and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I now give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I am paying back four times as much!” Luke 19:8

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. ( Love is God’s plumb line) 1 John 4:7,8

4. Become proactive in your commitment to bless others.

When they had stripped the land clean, I cried out, “Sovereign Lord, forgive! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!” So the Lord relented. Amos 7:2

Then I said, “O Sovereign Lord, please stop or we will not survive, for Israel is so small.” Then the Lord relented from this plan, too. Amos 7:4

Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies. Hebrews 13:2,3

Whenever you reap your harvest in your field and leave some unraked grain there, you must not return to get it; it should go to the resident foreigner, orphan, and widow so that the Lord your God may bless all the work you do. When you beat your olive tree you must not repeat the procedure; the remaining olives belong to the resident foreigner, orphan, and widow. When you gather the grapes of your vineyard you must not do so a second time; they should go to the immigrant, orphan, and widow. Remember that you were slaves in the land of Egypt; Deuteronomy 24:19-22

When you do what is right and become a blessing to others, this finds favor with God. 1 Peter 2:20
