“HOW TO FIND FAVOR WITH GOD”

Jezreel: God Sows, God is grieved because of past behavior; Lo-Ruhamah: God no longer has love (feelings) for you; Lo-ammi; God doesn't want to have a relationship any longer.

For this reason I will fence her in with thorns. I will block her path with a wall to make her lose her way. Hosea 2:6 Pray no more for these people, . Do not weep or pray for them, and don’t beg me to help them, for I will not listen to you. Jeremiah 7:16

Yet the time will come when my people will be like the sands of the seashore—too many to count! Then, at the place where they were told, ‘You are not my people,’ it will be said, ‘You are children of the living God.’ Hosea 1:10 ; Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:11-12

“By supporting what God loves”

1. God loves evangelism.

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Jesus said , Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient , not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

The wedding banquet is ready, so go to the street corners and invite anyone you find.’ The servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad, the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. Matthew 221:8-10

Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. Romans 10:1

2.  God loves the mission of the church as an organization and organism.

For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up His life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. Ephesians 5:25,25

You are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are His house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him. Ephesians 2:19

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. Romans 12:4,5

If anyone does not support God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:17; For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. Corinthians 3:9

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10

3. God loves children.

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:10

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him. Psalm 127:3

If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, (passive or aggressive)  it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:8

But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren. Deuteronomy 4:9

4. God loves unity and fellowship among believers.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people worship together in harmony! . For there the Lord bestows his blessing, Psalm 133:1,2.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 1 John 3:16,17

God really hates a person who sows discord in the family. Proverbs 6:19

God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4
