“HOW TO FIND FAVOR WITH GOD”

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:8, , God’s favor lasts a lifetime! Psalm 30:5.

David enjoyed God’s favor . Acts 7:46, Joseph found favor in his eyes. Genesis 39:4

For this finds favor with God when you do what you know is right and patiently endure unfair treatment. 1 Peter 2:19,20

FAVOR: When God owes you one. He is indebted to you.

“By supporting what God loves”

1. God loves evangelism.

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Jesus said , Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15

The Lord does not want anyone to perish. 2 Peter 3:9

The wedding banquet is ready, so go to the street corners and invite anyone you find.’ So they  went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad, the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. Matthew 221:8-10

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely My favor will always be with you. Matthew 28:19.20

2. God loves a cheerful giver.

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son. John 3:16a

That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said to God, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer. Hebrews 10:5

If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord— Proverbs 19:17

If anyone is poor among  in the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted, rather, be openhanded and freely lend them . Deut. 15:7,8

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a cheerful giver.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” 1 Corinthians 9:7-9

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for this is what God loves. Hebrews 13:16

3. God loves children.

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:10

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him. Psalm 127:3

If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, (passive or aggressive)  it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:8

But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren. Deuteronomy 4:9

4. God loves unity and fellowship among believers.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people worship together in harmony! . For there the Lord bestows his blessing, Psalm 133:1,2.

But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers. Psalm 55:13,14

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. John 17:20,21
