FROM SINNER: "Your daughter-in-law Tamar is guilty of prostitution, and as a result she is now pregnant." Judah said, "Bring her out and have her burned to death!" Genesis 38:24

Judah said to his brothers, Come, let's sell him to the Ishmaelites ." His brothers listened to him. Genesis 37:26,27

TO SAINT: The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet. Genesis 49:10

Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, Revelation 5:5; Hebrews 7:14

1. Knowing that you have been chosen , special , one of a kind.

She conceived and bore a son and said, "This time I will praise the Lord." Therefore she named him Judah (meaning praise) . Then she stopped bearing. Genesis 29:35

He chose me in Him before the foundation of the world, that I would be holy and blameless before Him. I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand. Ephesians 1:4; 2:10

But I am a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for [God's] own possession, so that I may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

From one man he made me , that I should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for me and the exact places where I should live. God did this so that I would seek him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him. Acts 17:26,27

2. A willingness to admit that I was wrong.

Judah recognized them and realized that he was wrong, and said, "She is more righteous than I, inasmuch as I did not give her to my son Shelah. Genesis 38:26

Three hardest words to say: I WAS WRONG (Its in our DNA)

Adam said, "The woman you put here with me--she gave me some fruit , and I ate it." Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, ." Genesis 3:12,13

David was conscience-stricken after he had counted the fighting men, and he said to the LORD, "I have sinned greatly in, I was wrong, 2 Samuel 24:10

When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man! Luke 5:8

There is a way that seems right , but the end is death. Proverbs 14:2

3. When we make a personal commitment of obedience to the Lord.

Then Judah said to Israel his father, "Send the boy along with me and we will go at once, so that we and you and our children may live and not die. I myself will guarantee his safety; you can hold me personally responsible for him. If I do not bring him back to you and set him here before you, I will bear the blame before you all my life. Genesis 43:8,9

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15

But a body You have prepared for Me; "Then I said, `Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God. Hebrews 10:6,7; (its in our DNA) Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, Here am I. Send me! Isaiah 6:8

4. When our faith is put into action.

Now then Judah said please let me remain here as your slave in place of the boy, (Benjamin) and let the him return with his brothers. Genesis 44:33

For just as the body without [the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. James 2:26

Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way. And thus I will go in to the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish. Esther 4:16

The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, put into action , do them, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9
