“HOW TO LIVE IN ABUNDANCE”

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. Ephesians 3:20; John 10:10

Abundance Living: Getting you needs fulfill in all areas of life, emotionally, financially psychologically, and spiritually. Living in the land of more than enough.

1. By investing in God’s Word.

Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3

On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he has been blessed. 1 Corinthians 16:2

Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow. Proverbs 3:9

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully  will also reap bountifully. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

2.  By being faithful , even in times of lack.

Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you. Deuteronomy 8:5

Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all . They  gave their gifts out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty. Luke 21:4

In the midst of a very severe trial, and their extreme poverty  they were filled with an abundance  joy, because they were  rich in generosity. 2 Corinthians 8:2

As your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.    For this is what the Lord,  says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’ ” 1 Kings 17:12;14

 

3. By seeking God’s face, after your initial blessings.

When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good He has done be careful that you do not forget. Deuteronomy 8:10,11

When you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes  and when your flocks and herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied , be careful! Do not become proud at that time and forget the Lord your God, who rescued you from slavery. Deuteronomy 8:12-14.

When you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me. Hosea 13:6

Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God”? Luke 17:17-19

And we all, are being transformed into his image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18

4. By giving honor to  the source of your abundance.

You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth. Deuteronomy 8:17,18

The Lord God made garments for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Genesis 3:21

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1,2

Honor the Lord for the glory of His name, Jehovah Jireh . Psalm 29:2
